How do I sign up? You must register online.

What to Wear:  Cool, comfortable, casual clothing.

Rally T-Shirts:  Sorry, shirts are no longer available online. A limited number of shirts will be available for sale at the rally.

What to Bring:  June is warm in DC, so make sure you bring an adequate supply of water.  Sunscreen.  Posters.  Hundreds of friends, neighbors, and loved ones.

Posters: Please keep rally posters no larger than 24 x 36.  Please do not bring banners.  If your poster is larger than 24 x 36 you will need to proceed directly to the Capitol Grounds area and not participate in the march.  We encourage posters with pictures of your child/children.  Please refrain from using profanity on your posters and signs.

What Not to Bring:  Please do not bring megaphones or bull horns.  Do not bring any large items, only backpacks, posters, etc.

Children Attending the Rally:  Children are always welcome, however, their safety is of the utmost importance. Keep in mind this will be a very large crowd with very loud noises including sirens. We will be marching on busy streets and we ask that children stay to the inside of the sidewalk while we are marching.  Let's help keep an eye on each other and keep everyone safe. Please see our information on child safety.

Bad Weather:  This event will happen rain or shine.  In the event of rain, please being umbrellas with you.

Parking:  There is no parking available at the Capitol Grounds or Washington Monument for private automobiles, buses, or other vehicles.  Buses dropping off passengers at the Capitol Grounds may utilize Garfield Circle, at the intersection of First Street and Maryland Ave.  Buses picking up passengers at the Capitol Grounds must do so at the intersection of First Street and Pennsylvania Ave.- Peace Monument Circle. Buses dropping off passengers at the Washington Monument Grounds may utilize bus (tram) pull off areas on 15th St. (on the Washington Monument side of the street).  Another bus drop off area near the Washington Monument is on Madison Dr. between 14th St. and 15th St.

Please Keep in Mind When Attending the Rally:  It is important we abide by all rules and regulations set forth by Capitol Hill, National Parks Services and Metro Police as agreed upon in rally permits, which includes obeying all traffic laws, no blockage of persons or streets, no disorderly conduct, or planned arrests. The following are items prohibited at all times on Capitol Grounds:  any firearm, explosives, club, missile, chemical or other incendiary device or other weapon. It is also prohibited to use of display any open flame. No holes are allowed to be made on the Capitol Grounds, so please refrain from staking your posters and signs in the ground.
