Legal Seminar - IEPs Made Easy (Beginner) - Costa Mesa - February 9, 2010
Location TACA's office - 3070 Bristol Street #340, Costa Mesa CA 92626
Driving DirectionsDate Tuesday, February 9, 2010, RSVP before February 3 Time 5:30-7:30 p.m. Description IEPs Made Easy This is a beginner seminar geared for parents who have just started attending Individualized Educational Program/Plan Meetings (less than 18 months).
“IEP” refers both to a meeting and to the document that is produced at that meeting. An individualized Educational program meeting (alternatively sometimes called an "Individualized Education Plan," "Individual Education Plan," or some combination thereof) is required by law when a child is identified as having a disability that is recognized under the Individuals with Disabilities Educational Act (IDEA). The purpose of an IEP is to provide a special needs child with specialized and individualized assistance in school. Meetings are held at the child’s school and documents created at these meetings specify the district's offer of special education services for your child.
Website www.tacanow.org Fee Free, you must RSVP before February 3 to attend. Sponsor This program was funded by the generous support of the Pacific Life Foundation.
