This presentation is for parents, family members and grandparents who want to learn how and why parents win against their school district, based on recent special education cases; as well as parents who want to convene a more productive and effective IEP meeting.
A 2000 graduate of the UCLA School of Law, Jennifer Kropke, Esq. has a boutique law firm, The Law Offices of Jennifer Kropke, dedicated exclusively to helping parents of special needs children. Ms. Kropke has extensive special education law experience; her last hearing decision resulted in her clients obtaining a finding against the school district on multiple issues and requiring the school district provide over 300 hours of costly compensatory education to her client for their IDEA violations. Ms. Kropke is also a frequent lecturer for parent support groups, focusing her presentations on empowering parents by educating them on the law and the strategy involved in special education cases. She provides special education representation to parents and grandparents, as well as practices family law exclusively on cases involving parents of special needs children, and establishes conservatorships on behalf of clients who require them at age 18.
