TACA of Los Angeles Meeting - October 8, 2008
Title TACA of Los Angeles Meeting - October 8, 2008 Location Immanuel Presbyterian Church, downtown Los Angeles, 3300 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90010 Get directions from your location. Date October 8, 2008 Time 7-9 p.m. Description Dr. Thomas Lin, DAN! Doctor Interactive Discussion about Biomedical Interventions
Dr. Lin graduated Suma Kum Laude from University of California at Riverside. He attended UCLA Medical School and graduated with honors in 1995. Dr.Lin has been board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 1999 and has more than 12 years of clinical experience. He enjoys the practice of pediatrics, given the resilient and positive nature of children and the gratifying privilege of nurturing their growth and health. He is also a DAN doctor.
As a father of three children, Dr. Lin knows what parents expect and deserve from their pediatrician. The same qualities of medical care that he wants for his children are what he tries to provide for his patients every day. However, many doctors are forced to see more patients in less time when faced with the cost-cutting practices of today's HMOs. The quality of medicine deteriorates, and patients sometimes suffer the consequences. IrvineKidsMD is completely different. We take time with each patient and treat everyone that comes through our doors with care. We offer carefully-administered vaccines for children; we take into consideration your child's health when giving them vaccines with alternative vaccination schedules. Our holistic pediatrician offer preventive medicine, judicious use of antibiotics, and the option of giving your children only one to two vaccines at a time.

- Delight in a true friendship?
- Feel a sense of pride in being able to contribute to his or her community?

- Feel capable and confident living an independent lifestyle?

The goal of the RDI® Program is to provide the majority of people on the autism spectrum with the potential to attain a true quality of life. The RDI® Program is a parent-based intervention program where parents are provided the tools to effectively teach Dynamic Intelligence skills and motivation to their child. RDI teaches the joy in connecting a path for people on the autism spectrum to learn friendship, empathy, and a love of sharing their world and experiences with others.
After a career in Early Childhood Education, Janet Wald shifted her work to special needs and became RDI certified (a total of three times). She is dedicated to helping children experience shared joy with another person, so that everyday, life becomes less stressful and more enjoyable for the entire family. Janet aims to help parents and their children by creating an environment in which the parents become the central figure in guiding their child's development
The Neuro-Fit is a blend of physical, developmental and sensory stimulating exercises which strengthen and improve the neural connections between the brain and the body. Developed from years of scientific research his principles and proactive approaches have been applied in a wide variety of applications, ranging from work with autistic children to enhancing professional and athletic development. The cornerstone of his program is the belief in human capacity and potential, and his programs have one intent: enhancing human capacity and potential.
