2 Buchanan Street Partners Issues A Matching Funds Donation Challenge To Support Families Affected By Autism

Newport Beach-based Buchanan Street Partners has renewed their support for Talk about Curing Autism (TACA) with a $25,000 commitment at their annual Challenge for the Children fundraiser. Buchanan Street President Robert Brunswick is issuing this donation as a challenge in hopes to find another corporate or foundation partner to help their friends at TACA.

Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) is a national organization, headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, dedicated to providing information, resources, and support to families affected by autism. For families who have just received the autism diagnosis, TACA aims to speed up the cycle time from the autism diagnosis to effective treatments. TACA helps to strengthen the autism community by connecting families and the professionals who can help them, and helping people with autism be the best they can be.

"TACA brings forth their entrepreneurial spirit, and continually provides research, guidance, and important information to help families living with autism," said Robert Brunswick, President and CEO of Buchanan Street Partners.

Autism is the fastest growing developmental disability in the United States affecting 1 in 150 children. TACA serves more than 9,000 families annually, with 95% of their programs and services for free.  Because of the rapid increase in the rate of autism, more than 400 new families each month seek out TACA for help and support.

"The generosity of Buchanan Street Partners and the donors who meet this challenge, has a direct impact on the lives of children with autism," said TACA Executive Director Lisa Ackerman. "Bright futures are possible for children with autism, through the help of the community. Early intervention and unique biomedical treatment offer the opportunity for these special children to the future of their dreams. We need your help."

Please visit www.tacanow.org for more information about the programs and services TACA provides. Call (949) 640-4401 if you are interested in meeting Buchanan Street Partners' challenge to benefit children with autism.
