Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) completed its 3rd annual California Adopt-A-Family Holiday Campaign! More info about this program.
TACA received applications from 24 families during the holiday season. We adopted all 23 families affecting 52 children and 40 adults in need. These families affected by autism and in need live. TACA is proud to help these families in need.
More than $1,200 was raised and more than $2,000 in-kind donations were provided to TACA to help these families. In addition, 10 volunteers came forward to provide some level of help during this campaign. The average family gift was over $225 in food gift cards, holiday gifts for the children and parents, and in other needed products.
TACA provides year round support to California families in crisis via our Families in Crisis Fund.
