Board Member Biographies

Currently TACA has four active board members. The following are brief biographies:

President: Glen Ackerman

Glen currently serves as the President of Baseline Systems. This company, originally Integration Technologies, was co-founded with Lisa Ackerman in 1989. Glen has pioneered the innovative Managed Service Provider model, which delivers affordable and well managed network and computer support services to companies with under 100 employees.

Over the past 18 years Glen has successfully guided Integration Technologies through the transition from a database and software developer to one of the largest US-based systems integrator to its sale in November 2004.

Glen earned his BS from UCLA in 1986. Glen has no other affiliations with other agencies.

Executive Director and Secretary: Lisa Ackerman

Native of California, Lisa has worked in the retail and real estate site selection for almost 20 years. Lisa was a co-founder of Integration Technologies and AnySite Software which was sold to MapInfo Corporation in 2003. Working with customers like Wal-Mart, Burger King, Shell Oil, Lisa has consulted and sold large solutions for planning and managing the site selection process.

Lisa volunteers working with TACA as the secretary and Costa Mesa meeting coordinator to help families affected with autism. In March 2004 Lisa retired from her full-time career to volunteer her time full time with TACA & the families served by the mission. In July 2008 Lisa started to receive a full time salary for her Executive Director efforts with TACA.

Lisa has no other affiliations with other agencies.

Board Member: Patrick McIlvain

Patrick, or “Pat Mac,” presently serves as Vice President of Sports Marketing for Oakley, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of casual and performance eyewear, apparel, shoes and watches. During the course of Pat Mac's 15-year tenure with Oakley Sports Marketing, he has helped guide and grow the brand from a $200 million dollar company to a billion dollar brand annually.

In his present role, Patrick is responsible for all athlete endorsement, event sponsorships, and brand engagement within all sports globally.

Pat Mac is also currently President of 1242 Productions, a production company under Oakley Inc, responsible for production and distribution of action sports videos.

Previously, Patrick was Director of Operations at US Events, Inc.  Responsible for event production and promotion of triathlon, biathlon, snowboard, cycling and mountain bike races.

From 1989 to 1994, Pat Mac was a successful professional Mountain bike racer based out of Vail, Colorado.

Pat has a 9-year-old child with ASD.

Chairman of the Board and Chief Financial Officer: Casper Zublin, Jr.

Mr. Zublin presently serves as Co-Founder and CEO of U.S. Risk Partners, Inc., a start-up venture.

Previously, Mr. Zublin was hired as Chief Executive Officer to lead the turnaround at DynTek (OTC: DYNK) a North American mid-market systems integrator in 2005.   Mr. Zublin implemented a reorganization resulting in a substantial increase in sales to $120M and positive EBITDA during his tenure.  Prior to DynTek, he served as CEO of Integration Technologies, Inc., a professional technology services firm, which he guided through a 370% growth to $20M revenue and substantial profitability in just 30 months.  DynTek acquired ITI in October 2004.

From January 1998 to March 2000, Mr. Zublin served as CEO of AnySite Technologies, a predictive analytics software developer that was acquired first by Thompson Associates (April 2000) and later by MapInfo Corporation (December 2002), as part of their analytical CRM business unit.  From April 2000 to March 2002, he served as President of AnySite Technologies, LLC and Executive Vice President of Thompson Associates.  AnySite is the leading predictive analytics software for the retail, restaurant and real estate industries.

Previously, Mr. Zublin served as President for Staffing, Inc., a four-time winner of the Inc. 500 award, which recognizes America's fastest growing private companies.  During his tenure, he also co-founded an offshore worker’s compensation insurance company and developed the one of the first risk management programs for the staffing industry.

Mr. Zublin is Chairman of TACA (Talk About Curing Autism) a leading national 501c3 non-profit dedicated to building community support for families dealing with autism.  Additionally, he serves on the Board Member and/or Management Counsel for Orange County Business Bank, Rush Tracking Systems, InHouseIT, Network D, DynTek, YPO California Southwest and 3six0 Advisors.

Mr. Zublin earned his BA with highest honors from Principia College in 1984; received an MBA from the University of Chicago, in 1993; studied at Stanford University's Advanced Management College in 2000; and is an active member of Young Presidents Organization.
